What you need
Ink & Ditto for Mac needs macOS 15 or later. Ink & Ditto for iPhone needs iOS 26 or later.
Keeping your Mac and iPhone in step
Keep your notes in iCloud Drive › Ink. On the Mac, that's the default. On the iPhone, open Ink, choose Settings (the last row), then Location, and pick that same folder.
Connecting Ditto
Ditto runs on your Mac, using Claude Code with your own Claude account. In Ink, open Ditto and follow Connect. Then put the cursor on a line and press ⌘↩. Ditto works on a branch of its own and asks you once: Ship It, Ask for Changes, or Discard.
Where your notes are
They're plain Markdown files in your notes folder, readable by any app, so you can back them up, move them or open them elsewhere at any time. Deleted notes wait in Recently Deleted for 30 days.
